Digital Asset Creation

What are assets?

Assets are the building blocks that create the foundation of
your animated video. They are your actors, props, and sets, and can include:
Typography, Shapes, Graphics, Backgrounds, Landscapes, Special effects, logos etc.

Asset workflow with after effects:

An asset workflow in After Effects is a
series of steps for importing, organising, and manipulating assets in the
program:
1. Importing: Import assets which can be 2D or 3D images.
2. Organising: Organise the imported assets in a comp.
3. Modifying: Transform, modify and animate the asset layer properties.
4. Adding effects: Add effects and modify the assets

Extra assets:

Browsing for tutorials on how to use the 3D animation in After Effects, I have come across a page that has community created assets in 3D where I have imported into after effects.

Using the 3D objects I will try to animate more in 3D as I've always thought 3D title Sequences look a lot better and this is the perfect opportunity for me to create one aswell
