What is a podcast?
A podcast is just like a radio broadcast. You can listen to it anywhere at any time as long as you have it downloaded or a connection to internet.
It can come as a video on platforms like YouTube or audio on platforms like Spotify and Apple podcasts.
Podcasts I have listened to:
A Safe Place
Created by rapper Lil Yachty and friend Mitch. Together they like to have other artists from the rap community join them on their podcast where they interview them.
In this episode they invited Lucki. He's a rapper I enjoy listening to and wanted to find out more about his life through this podcast. Whilst watching it I've learnt many things about Lucki but also about Yachty and Mitch; Their funny jokes, video edits and small text disclaimers really add to the experience, making it a lot better than just an audio podcast. From it I've also learned they have a sponsor which they talk about for around 30 seconds every 10-15 minutes as a small break interval.

A Moody Conversation
Created by the brand FUTUREMOOD as a way to advertise their new sunglasses line; they managed to bring one of the most influential rappers on the planet on the podcast, the one and only Drake. Him and his good friend Lil Yachty both have a "moody conversation" about different topics. From aliens to therapy to a thing we all do, they indulge in many random topics many people wouldn't think such a big artist like Drake would talk about
In this podcast the scenery is very different to a normal podcast as it's recorded on a beach in Turks & Caicos, using natural sunlight as the only source of light making it seem more like a hangout conversation than a podcast in itself. Also the fact podcast microphones are missing from the video also adds a more "natural conversation" type of vibe to it. Of course the regular advertisement throughout the video for the sunglasses is a regular it seems more natural than most.

imPaulsive
Created by Logan Paul, imPaulsive is a podcast that always has special guests and very interesting conversations about recent news in the social media world.
In episode 215, Logan invited a rap artist known as 6ix9ine as a guest on the podcast. The podcast went well with many topics being described, some being slightly touchy subjects for the rapper making him have certain reactions that may be considered funny by the audience. They also sometimes add small video effects or pan cameras in away that adds more to the podcast than just it being a simple conversation in one frame. They make it more entertaining.

What I have learnt from the podcasts:
When watching the podcasts, although they were video audio podcasts I have learnt that very controversial and weird questions create better conversations and help entertain the viewers for longer thus making them listen for longer periods of time which therefore brings in more revenue.

Personal Report:
I enjoyed the process of making a podcast, including the research and the creation of the poster. I also enjoyed being part of a interview-style podcast and not be the person asking questions, it was different. Although I was the host I decided to be co-host/guest and let Aliyah Bako be the Host which was nice. I didn't enjoy the time spent on finding a subject we can talk about as I tought it was quite challenging.

Overall I found it to be a great experience and would most definitely try it again in the future.
