Trimester 2 - Project Progresses

In week 8 I have decided to take a break from the music part and focus more on the 3D city as Evie needed the 3D city to create the Alternative-Reality Part of the project and couldn't do it without it.

The task is simple, create a futuristic city, in a sort of shield bubble and just make it look very neon and bright with blue hues.

At first I was thinking how I could create this as I have created cities before but never futuristic cities, so I had to look online at certain videos to really learn and just also have an idea of what a futuristic city might even look like.

After looking at all those examples mostly the one bottom right I kind of had an idea of what they most likely wanted. A advertisment corporation polluted world with extremely shiny and holographic logos.

To help me even more, my groupmate Leela has drawn a concept art of what it should kind of look like to give me more of an idea of how to design it.

Using all the inspo I have gathered I can confidently start working on the 3D work.

Chapter #7 - Tri-Dimensional:

The start of a 3D project is always a challenge as there's so many factors to take in consideration sometimes I'm not even sure where to start. As you open up a new project you are presented with... well a cube.

I decided that the first thing needed to create was a flat surface where I can build from kind of like the foundation of a house.

I have then added another cube which I transformed into an apartment building

I have then multiplied it to create multiple buildings very croweded and close to each other but also leaving some space for a road.
