UKAHT Project: Who are your audience?

what are demographics? 
During the lesson in week 7 Tina has presented us a prezi project showcasing a variety of people, ages, genders and examples of behavior in certain groups of ages. Below I have attached a screenshot of the Prezi Project.

We were told to research more about the specific target audience and how that can impact the Call to action (CTA) and the Click through rate (CTR). Tina also gave us a website where we can check and see statistics around social media use in the UK ( https://datareportal.com/reports/digital-2025-united-kingdomLinks ).

Looking at the website I found out that 97.8% of the UK population uses the internet. Over 80% of social media users are over 18 years old. As for gender it is split in a near 50/50 between male and female users, and there are over 47 million users overall.

A lot of adults use the internet for diferent platforms such as LinkedIn(81.8% of the population), Youtube ( 79% of the population with users of all ages), Instagram (59.9% are adults), Facebook & Messenger (ads on these Meta apps both reaching over 48% of all 18+ users) and Pinterest ( which has a huge female skew of over 70%). After this, we were given another task thatwe should do in groups which was to interview our partner and complete a user persona. We used Keanu Hope to interview and complete the user persona. Below you can see a screenshot of the task completed.
