Trimester 2 - Project work continues
This week, after all the research I have done and looked into that I haven't necessarily documented, it was the time to ask my groupmates what exactly they were looking for.

Chapter #3 : Group Feedback & Ideas

During the week 3 lesson I decided to invite everyone around my Mac, and ask them for themes or songs they might know that they'd like to hear in our project.

Unfortunately two of the people were quite unsure about the sound yet and so they didn't really give me any examples of songs or soundtracks but my dear classmate and friend Lee did.

They showed me the soundtrack to a game called "Hylics 2". Now, personally I have never heard of the game and at first glance when searching it up the game seemed very... different. It was different due to its graphics, colors and well the soundtrack.

Hylics 2:
Searching on YouTube I managed to find a playlist that has the whole original soundtrack, which to me is very strange. It has a mix of jazz and very odd, liminal sounds which are very interesting.

After listening to all of the tracks I have found one that I really like, Lee also recommended a song that I should use to inspire my work for the soundtrack.

The song I found is called "Look Ma, I fly now!" which I think is honestly so amazing, having a great combination of instruments, giving a very Jazz/Indie type of vibe.

Lee then showed me the song they thought would fit best for the narrative and the idea for our project. The song Lee picked is "Afterlife"
I found the song to be both intriguing and melodic but also extremely strange and unsettling which is something I did not enjoy.
